Districts with a Food Service Management Company are restricted to two people per district in attendance. One school district employee must attend this training annually.
The topics covered will include benefit issuance, eligibles, verification, meal counting and claiming, adult meals, additional programs, professional development, Local School Wellness Policy, and smart snacks. Handouts will be provided. The Child Nutrition Manual for Schools FY2026 will not be printed, however an electronic copy that can be printed or saved to your computer will be available July 1, 2025, in CARS under Other Documents. It is highly recommended that you bring a copy (electronic or printed) to the training. If you would like to take notes during this workshop, please bring something to write with.
