Food Service Management Company employees are restricted to two people in attendance per district in a Cafeteria Staff Training. Lunch is on your own.
This training is highly recommended. Topics to be covered include the new USDA meal patterns, menu planning, crediting of food, Production Records, offer versus serve, new USDA Buy American guidelines, food safety/ HACCP, and additional programs.
Handouts will be given out at the training. The Child Nutrition Manual for Schools FY2026 Cafeteria Managers’ section will not be printed, however an electronic copy that can be printed or saved to your computer and will be available July 1, 2025, in CARS under Other Documents. It is highly recommended that you bring a copy (electronic or printed) to the training. If you would like to take notes during this workshop, please bring something to write with.
