Districts with a Food Service Management Company are restricted to two people per district in attendance. One school district employee must attend this training annually. Lunch is on your own.
The topics covered will include application processing, benefit issuance, verification, meal counting and claiming process for schools, adult meals, additional school programs, professional development, Local School Wellness Policy and smart snacks. The Child Nutrition Manual for Schools FY2026 will not be printed, however an electronic copy that can be printed or saved to your computer and will be available July 1, 2025, in CARS under Other Documents. It is highly recommended that you bring a copy (electronic or printed) to the training. If you would like to take notes during this workshop, please bring something to write with.
Participants will need a state issued ID to scan in to attend. School IDs will not be accepted. Please arrive early to scan your ID and collect a badge.
